HERO House Intake Process
In order to be considered for residency, you must complete the following:
- An application with essay included.

- Phone or in person interview with Program Director, a Recovery Coach or Executive Director.
- Provide names and contact information, along with signed consent forms, so the Program Director can confer with family members, university and treatment center personnel.
What to bring:
- A positive attitude
- Clothes
- Toiletries (minus mouthwash)
- Food
- Cell phone (if applicable)
- Car (if applicable)
- Books & pictures
- Alarm clock
- Laundry basket
- Lockbox for medications (including over-the-counter medication)
- Computer (if applicable)
- Linens(bedding and towels) are provided, but residents may choose to bring their own.
What not to bring:
- Weapons
- Pets
- Halogen lamps, candles, or incense
- Pictures, posters and/or tapestries that have drug related images
- Valuable jewelry, clothes or other personal item
